Job Summary

This places OKCredit in a unique position and gives the team a distinct opportunity to decipher the richest possible data about Indian MSME sector. The vast variety and magnitude of data at OKCredit which is a mix of structured, unstructured, image,text based data is all set to revolutionize the way India accounts for its money. Some of the ML use cases, currently at OKCredit are:

  • User acquisition and user retention
  • Network growth using massive graph data
  • NLP/NLU based products for Indic languages
  • Audio/Voice capabilities for building voice-first products

Responsibilities:

  • Building scalable and low latency DL systems
  • Model training, validation and post deployment monitoring
  • Maintaining and improving existing codebases and peer reviewing code
  • Liaising with team members on ML system design and technical documents
  • Managing ML technical debt
  • Manage individual project priorities, deadlines and deliverables
  • Research and literature review (including open source)
  • Understanding and implementing SOTA research papers
  • Bonus:
    • Expertise in building ASR (Automatic speech recognition) systems
    • Published papers in any of the leading ML conferences (NIPS, ICML,CVPR etc.)
    • Open source contribution
    • Competitive results in deep learning competitions
    • Deployment on edge devices
    • Exposure to graph neural networks (large scale graphs)


Tools:

  • Python, SQL, Databases, Pytorch/Tensorflow
  • Bonus: Kubernetes, Docker, GCP stack


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, or related technical field, or equivalent work experience.
  • 5+ years of Machine learning and Deep Learning research experience.
  • Proficiency in building varied DL models (RNNs, CNNs, Transformers etc.)
  • Ability to apply DL solutions to structured data problems
  • Ability to do literature review, along with understanding and implementing the research papers
  • Industry experience in training and deploying Deep Learning models
  • Industry experience in Deep Learning system design
  • Bonus: Competitive results in Kaggle problems
