Service Engineer Job in Oerlikon Balzers
Designation: Service Engineer
Education: Diploma / PG Diploma in Plastic / Tooling / CIPET
Experience: 4-5 years in Tool Making, Tool Maintenance, Injection Moulding Process, and Mold Try-outs with troubleshooting expertise.
Job Location: Delhi NCR
Must Have: Valid Driver's License and Two-Wheeler
Job Description:
- Perform service activities such as rework, modifications, repairs, and installation of hot runner systems, ensuring proper functionality.
- Provide technical support and training at customer sites on system usage and maintenance.
- Conduct routine maintenance and offer ongoing customer support.
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues, providing effective repair solutions.
- Maintain detailed service reports and records.
- Clearly explain system issues and repairs to customers.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships while representing the company in the field.
- Follow all established safety procedures and policies.
- Communicate effectively with customers at all levels to ensure satisfaction, both verbally and in writing.
- Project a confident and customer-focused attitude, committed to exceeding customer expectations.
- Capable of conducting formal meetings with customer management teams.
Preferred Skills & Knowledge:
- Familiarity with various polymers such as PP, PC, PMMA, PBT, PA, POM, ABS, PC-ABS, and PET.
- Strong critical thinking and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to utilize analysis tools.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively without direct supervision.
- Willingness to provide occasional vacation coverage and 24/7 emergency support to customers and colleagues.
- Ability to meet the physical demands of the role, including bending, lifting heavy equipment, and working in confined spaces.
- Flexibility to relocate within India if required.
