Role Overview

We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer - Full-stack with a strong technical foundation and experience building scalable distributed systems. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment and demonstrate ownership and engineering excellence across both frontend and backend technologies.

What You ll Do

• Design, develop, and maintain microservices using TypeScript, React, and Go, Python, and/or Java.
• Build cloud-native software products adhering to industry best practices for security, scalability, and reliability.
• Develop systems, services, and tools to support Ocrolus s expanding product portfolio and business needs.
• Scale online services and data pipelines processing millions of transactions securely.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance security, reliability, and automation.
• Support testing activities, troubleshoot production issues, and implement solutions.

Who We re Looking For

• Bachelor s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Expertise in Java with solid understanding of the JVM and experience building complex service applications.
• Proficient with frontend frameworks, including React and the broader React ecosystem.
• Experience with backend frameworks such as Spring and Flask.
• Strong database knowledge, including Postgres, MySQL, and data modeling.
• Demonstrated ability to lead projects end-to-end and contribute architectural guidance for both frontend and backend systems.
• Familiarity with containerization, microservices, CI/CD pipelines, AWS, and cloud deployments.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
