The Nuage Networks Business Group has the requirement to hire a Senior Product Line Manager, SD-WAN.

The successful candidate for this position will work closely & collaboratively with fast-paced cross-functional teams (CTO, Engineering, Marketing, Sales and Pre-Sales organizations) to develop detailed feature requirements for a new innovate product initiative.

An ideal candidate for this position would excel in fulfilling the following key responsibilities:

  • Defining and prioritizing product requirements based on customer input, product portfolio strategy, market trends, competitive intelligence and knowledge of applicable technologies.
  • Writing detailed Product Requirement Documents (PRD)
  • Reviewing product requirements with engineering to refine feature capabilities to achieve maximum customer satisfaction and competitive differentiation while minimizing development effort to speed customer delivery.
  • Meeting with customers, employees, partners and analysts to evangelize the product, to monitor the marketplace, and to remain at the forefront of product features and technology. Helping develop key accounts and key customers references to support the product and strategically important capabilities.
  • Developing business cases for complex or significant proposals for the product line
  • Contributing to the creation of sales/marketing plans and collateral: user documentation, competitive analysis, demos, presentations, whitepapers, case studies, value proposition messages, etc.

Required Qualifications:

  • Strong understanding of SDN and SD-WAN principles, virtualization technologies, network edge optimization and security technologies and IP/MPLS architectures
  • Proven track record as a Product Manager with a minimum 5 years+ experience in the networking industry
  • Experience with deploying/architecting customer premise equipment (CPE) as part of an IPSEC and/or IP/MPLS service offerings
  • Enterprise / Service Provider network design/operations experience will be considered as a bonus
  • Fluency in Linux Operating System with demonstrable scripting capabilities in Perl/python/PHP/Java considered as bonus
  • Excellent communications skills are essential. Being able to articulate Nuage Networks solutions and differentiation for consumption by customers and sales/pre-sales teams is critical.
  • Superior writing skills are essential. Must be able to write clear and concise white papers and articles that effectively influence executives as well as technical decision makers within large enterprises and cloud service provider IT & networking organizations.
  • Innovative thinking and experience that brings different points of view to augment the team.
  • Resilience in a high-pressure (but very stimulating) start-up working environment, with a creative, entrepreneurial, and can-do attitude.

Desired Qualifications: (Education, Technical Skills/Knowledge)

  • BA/BS in Engineering, Computer Science or closely related field.
  • Advanced technical or business degree appreciated, but not required.
