Qa Automation Architect Job in Nokia

An exciting career opportunity has arisen for architect in automation testing to joinNokia Enterprise Analytics & IOT division test team, engaging in various forms of testing, including automated integration testing, performance testing, security testing, manual acceptance testing, etc. You will be able to work on your own initiative and lead the testing for individual projects from creation of user stories through to pre-release QA sign off.

Required skills:

• Test case automation with JavaScript development
• Deep knowledge of ECMAScript and/or TypeScript
• Work experience with NodeJS, Puppeteer, Cucumber
• Knowledge of HTML, CSS and the major browsers (Chrome, IE)
• Strong foundations in regression testing, including unit tests and functional (end-to-end) tests
• Knowledge of testing libraries: mocha and/or jest and/or cucumber, or similar
• Knowledge of end-to-end browser instrumentation: Selenium and/or Puppeteer, or similar
• Familiarity with web application development and framework implementation
• Experience with CI/CT (Continuous Integration, Continuous Testing) systems, Jenkins
• Understanding of JSON language

Responsibilities:

• Undertaking all forms of functional and non-functional testing

• Ownership of testing for individual projects including

• Developing automated framework and test scripts
• Creating Test Plans
• Test coverage and status reporting
• Working on continuous integration, Jenkins, Docker
• Test Summary reports for final QA sign off
• Working within agile development teams with a POM/BDD approach and supporting the developers to quality assure developments early.
• Utilize development skills, data manipulation skills and scripting skills to engineer technical, repeatable tests.

Desired skills:

• Experience with SPA (Single Page Application) web application development

• Familiarity with at least one of the major SPA frameworks: ReactJS, AngularJS or similar

• Knowledge of a geographical mapping library, Google Maps or similar

• Knowledge of a data charting library, HighCharts or similar

• Knowledge of FlowTypes, REST API

• Understanding of both black box and white box test approaches

• Understanding of JIRA/ Testlink / GIT is desirable.

• Industry background: Geo-Spatial / IOT industry experience would be useful. Knowledge on Electrical / Gas domain will be plus.

• Ideally degree Educated in an engineering, scientific or technical discipline
• Experience working in agile teams with Devops
• 8+ years of experience in automation/software development
• 1 year of experience in manual testing
• Experience of designing acceptance test criteria for user stories and development tasks.
