OurResearch and Development team has been growing steadily and to reinforce itfurther we are looking for a senior Architect to work on Altiplano, Nokiascloud native Fixed Access Domain Controller.Altiplano virtualizes themanagement and network functions from the network elements to operators cloudand further improves network operations efficiency by abstracting andautomating the underlying multivendor, multi-technology Fixed Access networks.

Role Description:

Definethe Altiplano architecture and design. Play a key role in the BUs innovation strategydevelopment. Altiplano portfolio consists of multiple products in the space offixed access domain controller

Keepabreast of industry trends in technology for management solutions and softwareengineering with a view of identifying the right ones for adoption in the group

Workwith the engineering team towards the realization of the architecture anddesign in the respective areas of the domain controller

Mentorand Coach a large engineering team distributed across locations for efficientdesign, high performance and quality

Driveinternal process improvements & innovations in software engineering to movethe team towards best in class practices.

Strengthenthe innovation spirit in the group and mentor

Work towardsa multi-domain management solution with other Nokia Business Groups. Activelycontribute towards cross BG workgroups within Nokia to identify and deploycommon technologies and best practices for use

Driveinnovation processes and collaborations with customers

SkillsRequired:

Bacheloror Master degree in Computer Science or related areas

10+years experience of architecting software/IT/telecom solutions

Provenresults in defining architectures and bringing those solutions to the market

Experiencein successfully working with global organizations with strong communicationability. Strong motivational and technical leadership skills

PriorExperience in Network Management Solutions and Access Technologies

Expertin software engineering practices like Dev-ops, Agile Methodologies, ContinuousIntegration, Test Automation, Micro-Services, Xaas models

Expertisein relevant technologies including Java/J2EE, Linux, DBMS, Web Technologies, Cloud& Virtualization, Kubernetes, Containerization, SDN, Data Analytics

Expertisein next generation management & control plane protocols like NetConf/Yang,IPFIX, GRPC,

Abilityto quickly prototype and validate designapproaches
