Job Summary In Nokia Operations IT Infrastructure, the Networks service tower manages globally the life cycle, delivery, quality and performance of the Wide Area Network, the internet connections, network traffic management, (W)LAN, DNS/DHCP and all other aspects of connectivity for Nokia Networks offices and partners. The team manages the Overall Global IT network with functions of Service management, Operations, Design and project management. In team,IT Network - Technical Project Manageris responsible for IT Network service transformation by running the various Internal IT projects under the guidance of Network Service Owner/ Transformation Manager. This is a global position for fulfilling the business needs timely manner with good quality deployment of pre-approved secured network designs within the approved cost. Main scope and responsibility of the Technical Project Manager will be:
  • Participates in the preparation of project proposals, the project business case and in the implementation of projects
  • Manage Project financials and timely update of Nokia tools
  • Prepare and maintain the documentation/reports as per Nokia Project methodologies
  • Interfacing to must meet Nokia business requirements gathering, coordinating for solution development and get deploy the solution by IT service providers
  • Ensure the solutions with the IT Infrastructure Architecture and Nokia IT Security requirements
  • Handles the complete project cycle Project initiation, planning, execution, controlling and handover to RUN team and facilitate the service owner to achieve service objectivePrepare the management dashboard/reports ongoing project/programs
  • Bachelors degree or engineering degree in Telecommunications/Information Technology/Computer Science or equivalent
  • Minimum of 10-15+ years experience in Network services, deep knowledge of and management in complex environment (Nokia IT network experience is preferable)
  • Experience in IT network implementation of router, switch, firewall, mpls link, internet link..etc Network technical skill in handling all such implementation is mandatory
  • Professional certification (PMP or Prince) will be preferred
  • Previous experience of understanding and handling independently complex and multistream projects related to network and IT infra
  • Capable of managing provider teams
  • Capable to understand and develop business cases
  • Understanding of ITIL processes
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Eager and capable to work in a global multi-cultural team and to develop him/her self
  • Strong customer focus
  • Drive to deliver results, get things done attitude
