Key Responsibilities

You ll be expected to own projects from start-to-finish. You ll be expected to work closely with other team members and mentor junior developers. You must take pride in your work and have a keen attention to detail.

• Design and develop database Schema and data architecture. Spin up DB and Make changes in schema related to tables.
• Optimize SQL queries. Run the SQL Statements measure the performance details. Make Changes to SQL / Table Structure, measure the performance.
• Liaise with developers to improve applications and establish best practices.
• Gather user requirements and identify new features.
• Technically guide a group of developers.
• To assist with various aspects of data Security, including reviewing documentation, and helping to conduct an audit.
• Modify databases according to requests and perform tests.
• Solve database and data flow usage issues and malfunctions.
• Develop technical documentation.
• Provide data management support to users.
• Finalize the best option for the data and DB architecture

Skills, Knowledge and Experience

• Strong Experience in database design, data modeling and architecture.
• Proven work experience of at least 3 years as a Database developer.
• In-depth understanding of database optimization.
• Hands-on in writing complex queries, triggers, functions and stored procedures.
• Performing ad-hoc troubleshooting and data correction for end user.
• Capable of resolving performance issues, query optimization, database tuning, interpreting query execution plans, resolving dead locks etc.
• Should have strong knowledge in backups and recovery.
• Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Capability to learn new technologies is a plus.
• Working with USA or European clients is a plus.
• Experience in Oracle, SQL Server and MongoDB is a plus.
• Power BI, Power Apps, and MS Flow experience is a plus.
• SSRS and SSIS experience is a plus.
