QA Junior Engineer / Senior Engineer

Position Summary:

NewVision is looking for QA engineer -Junior/Senior with strong experience in test automation. This position will be responsible for handling day to day decisions without guidance, including initiating action without prompting and work independently when required. Should have good knowledge on software testing life cycle and Ensure that all the standards and process are being implemented within the projects.

Responsibilities:

• Prioritize tasks within the project and work with minimal supervision or guidance
• Experience testing web, GUI, client/server, and database applications
• Working with and creating formal test plans and documentation
• Tracking and reporting defects formally
• Ability to test applications under tight deadlines
• Ensure that all the standards and process are being implemented within the projects
• Ownership in end-end testing

Qualifications:

• QA Engineer should have 1 to 4 years of relevant experience
• QA Engineer- Senior should have 4 to 7 years of relevant experience
• BE, BTech, MCA, / MTech in Computer Science or equivalent

Preferred Skills & Experience:

• Strong knowledge on Automation using Selenium, BDD cucumber framework/ API automation
• More than 2 years QA Junior & above 4 years Strong hands-on experience in TOSCA
• Good to have Unix, Shell scripting, DevOps skills.
• Strong experience in API testing, Web testing (Cross browser technology)
• Strong understanding on CI/CD pipelines
• Build / Enhance framework components
• API integration and end to endtesting
• Experience working in Scrum/Agile team with tools like JIRA
• Good knowledge on AutomationTools: HttpClient, RestAssured, Selenium, SOAP UI.
• Strong knowledge on Languages: JAVA/J2EE, C#, XML, HTML5, JSON andJavaScript.
• Strong knowledge on Frameworks: TestNG, Junit, MSTestTesting framework.
• Strong knowledge on Web ServiceTools: Postman and Restful API, SoapUI
• Good understanding on Database: SQL
