The Role We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced business analyst of cyber product security to join our dynamic team. You will be responsible for analysing the effectiveness, efficiency and consumption of product security capabilities and services offered and provided to NewsCorp business units. As an expert in the field, you will play a key role in embracing emerging trends, providing guidance, and ensuring adherence to security best practices across all News Corp business and technology groups. The ideal candidate will have exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, enabling them to effectively collaborate with business leaders, product managers and technology engineers across our global organisation. This role demands a strong ability to multitask, work independently, and collaborate with geographically distributed teams. Key Responsibilities Develop and contribute to a comprehensive digital security product roadmap. Oversee the development of secure products and features, ensuring adherence to best practices and industry standards. Measure and guide product security solution sets to establish the highest amounts of effectiveness, efficiency and consumption increasing the security posture of NewsCorp s global businesses. Represent News Corp Enterprise Security strategy while engaging with senior technical leaders throughout the organisation. Engage with senior business leadership across all global business units to gather continuous improvement feedback and drive higher customer satisfaction. Establish appropriate key measures and metrics for multiple audiences including product managers, business leaders (C-suite), and cyber product security leadership. Required Skills and Qualifications BA/BS degree in Technology, Business Administration, Computer Science/Engineering, Cybersecurity, a related field, or at least 5 years equivalent experience. Proven experience with program and project management methodologies and roadmap development. Demonstrated understanding/experience in Product or Application Security. Strong background business process analysis. Experience developing and implementing key program metrics. Exposure to Dev tools such as Github, Terraform, CircleCI, and similar technologies is a plus. Expertise in Cybersecurity organisation practices, operations, risk management processes, principles, architectural requirements, engineering, threats, and vulnerabilities, including incident response methodologies, tactics, and strategies for protection, detection, response, and recovery. Recognized expertise in Agile and Scrum methodologies. Experience with Cloud platforms such as Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Google Cloud Platform (GCP) is a plus. Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to effectively communicate, both orally and in writing, across all levels of the organisation.
