Job Summary
- Should have at least 2 years of experience in copy editing/ language editing of books or journals and worked with any reputed publishers.
- Exceptional English communication/writing skills with a passion for reading and writing.
- Hands-on experience/exposure to various style guides and language specifications/requirements.
- Should be able to read through the manuscript thoroughly, identify inconsistencies and make corrections with the consensus of the author.
- Have the ability to understand the editorial workflow and copy edit the content in line with the customer s expectations
- Must demonstrate capabilities of consistency and quality throughout the editing process and meet specified deadlines by delivering high-quality content.
- Should have an eye for detail and must showcase high levels of commitment towards perfection.
