TetraVX is a US based company headquartered in Chicago, IL with offshore development centers in India and Bulgaria and TetraVX is looking for a Senior VoIP Engineer/Developer. This role will be responsible for architecting, developing, installing, implementing and troubleshooting Kamailio/OpenSIPS application server. The will assume ownership and accountability for SIP front end architecture and will drive the growth of the product, facilitating an eco-system interface to interconnect and integrate with other systems. Moreover the role requires strategic, challenging and openness mindset for embarking on innovation frontier, questioning the conventional methods and establishing the micro-services architecture.

Responsibilities

* Implement and support High Availability Kamailio/OpenSIPS application server

* Write advanced and complex dial plans for Kamailio/OpenSIPS application modules

* Code and modify existing and develop new modules to address business requirements

* Translate business requirements into technical and functional requirements

* Accountable for SIP front end architecture and ownership of the product/application

* Collaborate with other development team members to resolve dependent tasks and coordinate with QA team co create test plans

* Implement and promote DevOPs toolsets, enhance the quality of the product and achieve high throughput

* Develop and deliver product using Agile/Scrum methodologies

* Document bug fixes, feature functionalities and implementation

Requirements

* Education: Bachelor of Science in a related field

* Minimum of 5 years of experience implementing high availability Kamailio/OpenSIPS application server, including writing up functions and dial plans for routing

* Minimum of 3 years of development experience in coding the Kamailio/OpenSIPS or similar application servers using any Linux OS variant platforms

* Proficient at understanding SIP protocols; IM and WebRTC (WSS) protocol implementation

* Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases

* Proficient at C programming language or similar programming languages

* Great written and verbal communication skills

* Good knowledge of Agile Software Development practices

* Individual contributor and team collaborator

* Lua or similar scripting language experience is desired

* Familiarity and implementation of Rest API(s) and Micro-service architecture are desired

* Experience with memory caching systems such as Memcached or Redis is desired
