Job Summary Responsibilities:Experience in Linux servers and WebHostingTroubleshooting Linux related issues, Installing, updating packages in Red Hat Linux servers using RPMs and YUM repositoriesInstalling and configuring of RHEL and CentOS.Maintain VM Servers ( OpenVZ/Xen)Familiar with Webhosting control panels Cpanel/Plesk.Disk Management, Partitioning tools like fdisk, sfdisk, cfdisk, File system management ext3 file system & utilities (mkfs, e2fsck, tune2fs)LVM Physical volumes and logical volumes, volume groups, extending file systems, LVM mount and unmount of file systems.Adding /etc/fstab entry for newly created file systemAdding crontab entries after working with Application teamCreating users and customize user privileges.Automate manual jobs by creating scripts.Perform health check of server by creating customized scripts.Troubleshoot HW issues like disk performance, BIOS.Analyze and fix CPU, Load, Memory and processesMonitoring and troubleshooting Production issues.Installing and maintaining tools like DNS, DHCP, SAMBA, NFS, FTP.Install and configure Sendmail, exim, postfix, qmailShould have any Scripting knowledge like Shell.Configure RAIDDisk Management LVM (Preferable)Storage Management from OS level.Good English communication skillsWilling to work in shifts including night shifts
