Job Description

Plan & Design

• Have detailed discussions with clients as well as Pre-Sales Teams to understand the business requirements and the proposed solution
• Create the complete network solution architecture including all the internal and external interfaces of the network, routing protocols, etc
• Plan and design all network and security aspects like IP Schema, Zones, VLAN s etc
• Work with multiple OEM s and customer to fine tune and align the solution to meet all requirements
• Create HLD and LLD documents in line with customer requirements and get approval from customers for the same

Implementation

• Create a detailed deployment plan capturing all dependencies and requirements from multiple stake holders
• Align appropriate L2 and L1 resources for the implementation, configuration of devices, policies, QoS parameters, routing protocols, AAA, etc

Testing and Sign-Off

• Create Test cases for critical items and design considerations and run the test cases and validate the outcome and take additional corrective action as required
• Obtain sign-off from the customer on the implementation completion

Steady State Support

• Manage the team of L1 and L2 resources that are responsible for monitoring the infrastructure and attending to first level calls and resolving the same
• Monitor progress of L1 / L2 support team and trouble tickets and proactively step in to address and resolve issues in a timely fashion
• Good understanding and adherence to SLA s, Project Milestones
• Good understanding of one or more monitoring and management solutions Define parameters, thresholds that need to be monitored and alerting levels and mechanisms

Eligibility Criteria

• Candidate should have at least 12 + years of total experience
• At least 3 5 years of experience, working in a leadership role involved in planning, design & implementation of large complex networks
• Should have an excellent knowledge and be very strong in TCP/IP and OSI models
• Should have hands-on experience in designing and implementing Routing Protocols like RIP, OSPF, EIGRP, BGP, ISIS as well as Multicast networks
• Strong knowledge with hands on experience on design and implementation of Software Based Network (SDWAN, ACI, SD Access etc)
• Should have implemented Fabric enabled wireless networks.
• Should have experience in VLAN, VXLAN, STP, Policy Based Routing, NAT, SVL, IP SLA, Wireless, NAC etc
• Should have good knowledge and hands on experience on UTM devices, IPS, Next Generation firewalls, VPN from multiple OEM s, Load Balancers etc.
• Preferred to have knowledge entire IT Infra domain and applications
• Any Science or Engg Graduate Degree is acceptable IT / Computer Science discipline is preferred
• CCIE / CCNP (R&S) is highly preferable
• Additional Certifications from other leading OEM s on R&S (Juniper, HPE, Extreme) and on other Security devices like Fortinet, Checkpoint etc would be an added advantage
• Any wireless certification (CWNA) would be preferred

Skillset

• Should be good in Office Automation and Collaboration (MS Office & Mail)
• Should be flexible to work in night shift
• Should be good in communication and co-ordination preferably multi-lingual
• Should be sensitive to requirements and prioritize and address / escalate issues clearly and well in time
