Job Brief A React Native Developer is responsible for building native applications that can run on multiple platforms such as Android, iOS, or Windows. They use React Native as a framework for the JavaScript programming language. They are usually tasked with front-end development but are sometimes tasked with back-end development which involves understanding API services and integrating front-end components to the database. Responsibilities: Build pixel-perfect, buttery smooth UIs across both mobile platforms. Leverage native APIs for deep integrations with both platforms. Diagnose and fix bugs and performance bottlenecks for performance that feels native. Reach out to the open source community to encourage and help implement mission-critical software fixes React Native moves fast and often breaks things. Designing and developing high-volume, low-latency applications for mission-critical systems and delivering high-availability and performance Designing stateless components in React Native Working with the developers to create and maintain a robust framework to support the apps Working with the developers to build the interface with a focus on usability features Create reusable, effective, and scalable JavaScript code Architect, build and maintain excellent React Native applications with clean code. Translating UI designs and UX wireframes into high-quality codes Optimizing components for maximum performance Integrate third-party APIs Work with native modules when required. Work as part of a small team, which will include other React Native developers, project manager, QA professional, designer, backend engineer. Skills Required: Highly proficient in rendering components with Native APIs Highly proficient in JavaScript, modern JavaScript, HTML, Highly proficient in one or more libraries (e.g. Redux, React Router, etc) for state managing and routing in addition to React. Release applications to the Apple and Google Play stores. Keep up with Fullstack Development An understanding of React Native best practices Experience with automated testing suites, like is a plus Knowledge of Agile methodologies & scrum best practices
