About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Assurance Manager with 2+ years of experience to join our team in Kolkata. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the testing process of developed projects, ensuring the functionality, usability, and quality of our products. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in both manual and automated testing and a strong understanding of performance testing. You will work closely with development teams to identify bugs, improve processes, and deliver high-quality software solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Perform testing of the functionality and usability of developed projects to ensure they meet quality standards.
  • Identify and track bugs, errors, and issues, and follow up to ensure their removal and resolution.
  • Develop and execute detailed test plans and test cases to ensure comprehensive testing coverage.
  • Prepare and maintain user manuals and documentation for software products.
  • Work with development teams to improve processes and ensure the delivery of high-quality products.
  • Conduct manual, automated, and performance testing on web-based applications.
  • Ensure adherence to quality standards and recommend process improvements when necessary.

Minimum Qualifications

  • B.E./B.Tech/MCA or equivalent degree.
  • 2+ years of experience as a Quality Assurance Manager or Software Tester in an IT company.
  • Experience with manual and automated testing.
  • Familiarity with performance testing techniques.
  • Knowledge of web-based application software is helpful.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to identify and address bugs and issues.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with testing tools like Selenium, JMeter, or other automated testing frameworks.
  • Understanding of Agile methodologies and Scrum practices.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and testing integration.
