About the Role
We are looking for a skilled Android Developer with 2+ years of experience to join our team in Kolkata. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mobile application development and experience with Android APIs and frameworks. As an Android Developer, you will be responsible for developing high-quality, scalable Android applications that deliver exceptional user experiences.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain mobile applications for the Android platform.
- Work with Android APIs, libraries, and frameworks to implement new features.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Follow best practices for mobile development, including UI/UX design, performance optimization, and security.
- Debug, troubleshoot, and optimize applications for performance and scalability.
- Participate in code reviews, contribute to team knowledge sharing, and continuously improve your skills.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code while adhering to Android development standards.
Minimum Qualifications
- MCA/Bachelor s degree in IT/Computer Science or equivalent.
- 2+ years of experience in Android application development.
- Strong knowledge of Android SDK, Java, Kotlin, and Android APIs.
- Solid understanding of object-oriented design, data structures, and algorithm design.
- Familiarity with Android Studio, version control (Git), and dependency management tools (Gradle).
- Ability to analyze problems, design solutions, and perform complexity analysis.
- Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with RESTful APIs, third-party libraries, and Android architectural patterns (MVVM, MVC).
- Familiarity with Jetpack libraries and UI testing frameworks (JUnit, Espresso).
- Knowledge of Google Play Store guidelines and app deployment.
