Job Summary
Objective:Velocity Technology Solutions is looking for a Senior Consultant - Infor M3 Technical Support. This position will be responsible for Lawson M3 applications running on various operating systems and associated subsystems in test and production servers/environments. This individual will provide system-level support of multi-user systems, hardware and software tools, including maintenance and support of these applications. Applications include but are not limited to: M3 applications, Websphere, EDI, Process Flow, and Landmark. The support specialist will follow resolution protocols and track to resolution.
Primary LocationIN-Maharashtra-Pune We are based right in the heart of the city inPune. Our location is easily accessible from any part of Pune. The travel time gets reduced drastically as we are based in the centre of the city. This location is perfect & encourages everyone to have a healthy work life balance. Responsibilities:
- Handle incoming telephone calls and electronically reported issues from customers
- Accurately describe and maintain status of each issue using ITIL standards
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and connectivity problems, including user access and component configuration, maintenance of security and general support of complex systems
- Select among authorized procedures and seek assistance when guidelines are inadequate, significant deviations are proposed, or when unanticipated problems arise
- Install, configure, and upgrade printers
- Performs Install, Upgrade, Patch and Maintain Infor Products and Applications
- Actively work with other technical staff, such as networking to ensure connectivity and compatibility between systems
- Write and maintain system documentation
- Ability to work regularly scheduled shiftsAfter hours coverage for critical issues as needed
Requirements:
- Candidate should have 5-7 years experience and training in Lawson software business applications
- College degree in a related field or equivalent experience
- Previous customer support experience, preferably in the Lawson Software arena
- Knowledge of UNIX and NT operating systems
- Excellent organization/time management skills
- Ability to support/work in a multi-user/multi-client environment on different platforms
- Knowledge of tools, techniques and good practices for protecting the integrity of corporate data and processing
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment with multiple deadlines in non-standard hours, weekends/holidays
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize support/maintenance for multiple customers on different environments
- Ability to work cohesively in a team environment and act as a knowledge expert
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Candidate must ensure that compliance with data protection legislation under the DPA, EU GDPR, any other applicable data protection legislation
Skills:
- Cloud Suite 10.x and greaterI
- nstallation, Upgrade and Administration of Websphere 7.0 / 8.5
- Administering Windows server 2003/8, Powershell Scripting, Installation and Administration of Windows Services like AD, ADC, RODC, DNS, File Server, WDS, WSUS, AD CS, Clustering, NLB, Terminal Server, MDT, Administration of VMWare and Windows Hyper-V, Installation and Administration Exchange 2007.
- Experience in installation & admin of Ming.le and Sharepoint Foundation 2010, 2013
- Experience in installation & admin of Infor ION will be preferred.Experience in StreamServe Programming and Development
- Experience in Mashup Programming and Development
- Experience in Birst Development and Administration
- Experience in Designing and Administration of Data Lakes, DAWA Solutions
- Infor Process Automation Infor OS, Infor Ion
- Cloud Accreditation or Certification Preferred, AWS, OCI, Azure, GoogleJava, Perl, SQL, .Net, Python, Django, Ruby, Rails, C++, Go, Puppet Windows, Unix and Linux Administration Oracle and SQL administration knowledge
