Electrical Engineer
ROLE:
To provide a vital support in the discipline of Electrical Engineering to our integrated marine engineering services by involving and working across a variety of functional groups directly involved in engineering, product development, implementation and production.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Designing Main electrical systems of the vessel in design , prepare design drawings and get the required documents approved from the IRS.
Listing out materials required for procurement, compare between quotes and get the procurement as finalized, cooperating with the purchase department.
Prepare production drawings, fitments designs, and coordinate with the production department for electrical wiring , installation and commissioning of electrical systems in the vessel.
Work with the R&D department on developing and designing of the projects under the design.
Performing a wide range of engineering tasks by operating computer-assisted design or engineering software and equipment.
Ensuring compliance with specifications, codes, or customer requirements by directing or coordinating installation , manufacturing, construction, maintenance, documentation, support or testing activities preferable exposed to panel board designing, basic works of MEP etc.
RELEVANT QUALIFICATIONS and EXPERIENCE:
- B.Tech/BE in Electrical Engineering, preferable with min of 1-year relevant experience such as with shipyards or marine design consultants.
- Exposure to solar projects will be an added advantage.
- Experience in using or a desire to learn required software and also knowledge of applicable codes related to electronic engineering are desirable
