Specialist Skills

1. High level of proficiency in R, Python or similar modelling/scripting language 2. Strong knowledge of statistics, probability theory, machine learning, operations research, data visualization 3. Technical expertise regarding data models, database design development, data mining and segmentation techniques 4. Research abilities 5. Strategic thinking 6. Strong communication skills verbal and written in English

Job Purpose

Develop and implement databases, data collection systems, data analytics and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality Acquiring data from primary or secondary data sources and maintaining databases containing master data, including Filter and clean datasets- creation, updates, and deletion Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets using statistical techniques and provide ongoing reports Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy

Job Responsibilities

1.Prepare as needed and directed relevant product research, commodities research, and scenario planning 2. Support the advocacy and outreach plan for the exchange for research events to ensure achievement of targets 3. Support and create appropriate research based content to use in communication in alignment to the organizations mission 4. Support and Create relevant talking points for all senior leaders of NCDEX in all external forums; in support of the policy advocacy agenda. 5. Support advocacy plans of business leaders of the organisation with appropriate research, data and white papers 6. Conduct product specific research to forecast product trends through empirical studies
