The Nasdaq OneReport, a part of Nasdaq, is a leading provider of environmental, social, and governance (ESG) information management and reporting services. The main objective for the development team in Bangalore is to build state of the art SaaS products to help ESG reporting for Nasdaq customers. As a Technical Manager of this development team, you will work with a group of enthusiastic and experienced team. Together with your team, you will be responsible for delivery of enhancements and supporting architecture of the enterprise product to new software paradigms.
Your role and responsibilities:
As a Technical Manager, you will be responsible for managing a large technical area or a large-scale development with a well-defined Agile process and methodology. Besides working closely with your team in Bangalore, you will also work closely with Nasdaq teams in other countries.
- Implement organization strategies through the effective direction and management of resources, while being accountable for the business strategies, functional or operational areas, processes or programs.
- Assist the team design, develop, troubleshoot and implement rich web application software.
- Take high-level architecture and design models from architects and have the team implement them through detailed design and code
- Participate in technical design reviews, functional specification reviews, develop project estimates, schedules, test plans, and code reviews and is responsible for driving best practices for software development and documentations, assures designs meet requirements and deliver high quality work managing the schedules.
- Responsible and accountable for managing and developing a team of people, setting direction and deploying resources on varying projects, participating in organization-wide projects, while providing guidance and expertise on an as needed basis. Understanding how other business units operate, how their goals align with organizational goals and have budget and profit/loss responsibility.
- Managethe team, supervisors and aid the employeesin thegoal settingandperformance reviewprocesses;performsothertalent managementanddevelopment decisions asneeded.

Your role as a Scrum Master:
- Guide the team on self-organizing to fill in the intentional gaps left in the Agile/Scrum frameworks.
- Assess the Scrum Maturity of the team and organization and coaching the team to higher levels of maturity, at a pace that is sustainable and comfortable for the team and organization
- Remove impediments or guiding the team to remove impediments by finding the right personnel to remove the impediment
- Facilitate and get the work done without coercion, assigning, or dictating the work.
- Facilitate discussion, decision making, and conflict resolution
- Assist internal and external communication, improving transparency, and radiating information
- Support and educate the Product Owner, especially on grooming and maintaining the product backlog.
- Provide support to the team using a servant leadership style whenever possible, and leading by example.
We expect you to have:
- 10+ years of software development experience | in .Net Full Stack development.
- Strong experience on Cloud (AWS/Azure) and SaaS applications.
- Expertise First level Scrum Master certification (CSM, PSM I) or Experience in playing the Scrum Master role for at least one year for a software development team that was diligently applying Scrum principles, practices, and theory
- Seasoned experience in managing multiple teams of size at least between 10+ developers and executing enterprise projects
- Good experience in working with other teams cross-pollinate among them and global stake holders
- Good experience in building the product or application strategy and work towards enhancing the value of the product
- Willingness achieve success by leading yourself, your team and the business with integrity.
It would be great if you have:
- Prior experience in delivering multiple challenging projects over a long tenure.
