Job Responsibilities
8+ years of overall design and development experience with large-scale database systems in a 24X7 production environment.
Minimum 5 years of Oracle 10g, 11g, SQL, PL/SQL development experience with exposure to ETL processes.
Proficient in Oracle database technology, PL/SQL development & SQL tuning.
This position requires a certain amount of hands on code development.
1+ years of experience working with Oracle Application Express is desirable.
2+ year experience working with Unix/Linux. Strong Unix shell scripting skills.
Extensive experience in tuning SQL statements or processes on large and complex datasets.
Exposure to Business Intelligence tools and techniques.
Be able to prototype or conduct trials on new technologies or software applications.
Exposure to other Database systems is a plus.
The individual must be self-sufficient problem solver but also a collaborative team player.
Be equally comfortable working with management, business SMEs and hands-on development teams.
Ability to interface with and drive work with team members at different levels.
Capable of functioning independently and as part of a team.
Qualifications
Bachelors Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or Computer Technology. Masters preferred.
Technology certifications are a plus.
