Job Summary
Role Title: Controllership Finance Executive Overview: As a Controllership Finance Executive at Myntra, you will play a crucial role in financial analysis, revenue management, and collections, ensuring comprehensive oversight of both financial and non-financial reporting metrics. This position offers a unique opportunity to gain a holistic understanding of Myntra s primary revenue streams and receivables while collaborating with a diverse array of stakeholders, including Bizfin, leadership, auditors, and product & tech teams. Key Responsibilities: Marketplace Revenue Management: Analyze and manage multiple marketplace revenue streams to ensure accuracy and transparency. End-to-End Process Tracking: Learn and monitor the complete process of platform-related Gross Merchandise Value (GMV) and associated revenue. Receivables Oversight: Maintain a vigilant watch on receivables, collaborating closely with business teams to drive collections and monitor outstanding amounts. Business MIS Preparation: Prepare various Management Information Systems (MIS) reports to provide a clear overview of revenue and receivables for different business units. Audit Collaboration: Work alongside statutory and internal auditors to fulfill audit requirements efficiently. Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with tech and product teams to enable new business streams and conduct impact analysis on revenue implications. Skills & Qualifications: Educational Background: Semi-qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) with 4-6 years of relevant experience. Tax Knowledge: Familiarity with applicable taxes, including TDS and GST compliance related to revenue and receivables. Technical Proficiency: Experience with Oracle financial systems is preferred. Analytical Skills: Strong analytical capabilities with a deep-diving mindset for financial data analysis. Communication Skills: Ability to think clearly and communicate complex information succinctly. Entrepreneurial Spirit: A proactive, entrepreneurial mindset that fosters innovation and initiative. Accounting Expertise: Solid knowledge of accounting principles and practices. Team Collaboration: Strong collaboration skills, with a proven ability to work effectively within a team. Flexibility and Adaptability: Open to change and able to adapt to evolving business needs.
