Job Summary

Role description
  • To ensure fiscal soundness and operating effectiveness at company by a) putting in place processes, people and tools to plan, measure, control and manage financial performance and b) leading its deployment across the company

  • Manage cash flows - in and out - customers & vendors; responsible for disbursals of payments to vendors/ service providers/employees etc; Making Budgets and Ensuring Compliances under the budgets; Doing Internal Audits on mandated accounting or financial processes, procurement, inventories etc.; responsible for external audits; ensuring statutory compliances;

    Key Responsibilities

  • Develop a strategic plan (up to 2 years) & define the priorities for fiscal soundness, operating effectiveness at firm

  • Set the direction, lead the development of necessary financial policies and procedures for the group in company's vision and goals

  • Examine the existing processes, practices, policies, technology usage, controls and initiate improvement/ changes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness

  • Consolidation of financial information that represents an accurate and fair view of the financial performance of firm in a timely & accurate manner and in compliance with all regulatory and legislative requirements

  • Drive the implementation and compliance with all relevant authorities to meet the requirements - pertaining to statutory requirements, legal, tax related issues, internal and external audits.

  • Lead the annual budgeting exercise for the company (setting the guidelines, assessing the requirements & validating the outputs) and present the budget to the Directors

  • Generate necessary financial & performance insights & reports (costs, value realization etc) for Directors, Department heads on a timely and regular basis and push for necessary corrective actions

  • Lead the annual budgeting exercise for the business in line with the targets/ growth objectives, and review the actual results against the plan.

  • Establish right set of controls, review its effectiveness on a regular basis (through audits) and fine tune it to ensure effective deployment of assets.

  • Monitor, track & ensure adherence of requisite financial processes/ systems across the company and address deviation promptly and effectively.
