Job Description

  • Develop and maintain server-side logic using Node.js and Express.js.
  • Build scalable, high-performance APIs and microservices.
  • Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
  • Design and implement data storage solutions using databases such as MongoDB, PostgreSQL, or others as required.
  • Optimise application performance, ensuring high availability and reliability.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
  • Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to drive innovation and improvements.


Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

Proven experience as a Backend Developer with a focus on Node.js and Express.js.

Strong proficiency in JavaScript and its modern ES6+ features.

Experience with RESTful API design and development.

Proficiency in working with databases (e.g., MongoDB, PostgreSQL).

Knowledge of authentication and authorization mechanisms.

Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).

Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.

Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
