Roles and Responsibility

• Drive the goals by understanding the requirements and prepare a robust test strategy
• Design and implement reusable automated test framework to drive test automation goals and to support continuous integration and testing
• Good understanding of software engineering fundamental (such as OOP design pattern, algorithms, data structure)
• Experience in testing API and service side components
• BFSI Domain experience is MUST
• Knows how to code, build test automation tools / Drive test solution in term of test coverage test methodologies and automation
• Experience working with Jenkins to build CI/CD pipeline
• Strong knowledge of Database and SQL queries for data validation
• Be willing to take the lead and not require handholding

Skills:

• Excellent knowledge of QA processes and tools
• Excellent understanding of REST APIs.
• Automation using Postman and Supertest + Mocha + Chai libraries would be useful
• Have used GIT hub for version controlling , code repository
• Hands on experience over NPM modules , Node JS and Javascript related frameworks
• Experience in test case and scenario design on API framework level
• Familiar with using test/defect management tools (JIRA knowledge would be preferred).
• Good understanding of SDLC and STLC
