Job Summary

Role:

This position resides within the Identity & Access Management (IAM) Provisioning and Automation function, specifically within the Mainframe z/OS andz/VM Infrastructure team which is responsible managing and troubleshooting security functions across AIGs Mainframe RACF Security platform.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

  • Responsible for the set-up and maintenance of RACF on multiple Z/OS mainframe systems.
  • Responsible for oversight of third party vendor who operates parts of the RACF security environment
  • Troubleshoots all RACF security related problems on z/OS systems.
  • Monitors and maintains the security databases on multiple systems.
  • RACF security upgrades and IVPs.
  • Client migrations and de-migrations.
  • Evaluate new security software features.
  • Provide technical support for security administrators.
  • Develop and maintains automated processes for security reports.
  • Prepares ad hoc reports as requested by clients.
  • Monitors the environment for adherence to security standards.
  • Defines and implements security requirements for new applications and upgrades.
  • Executes problem determination and resolution.
  • Assists in creating, implementing and maintaining security standards, policy, procedures, documentation and guidelines.
  • Through daily interaction, educates users in security principles, policy and practices.
  • Processes authorized changes to machine log-on IDs and security software.
  • Implements interfaces with OEM (non-IBM) products.
  • Reviews database and recommends and implements changes to improve the security product and service.
  • Create and delete user Ids; create and modify uid strings, etc.
  • Participates in and responds to audit activities.
  • Work scheduled includes rotating off hour on-call and weekend support.
  • Administers password access.
  • Acts as a lead by guiding and reviewing related work.
  • Create, implement and maintain production security batch jobs.
  • Implementation and review of Violation reports.
  • Trains security administration staff in new systems with security administration components.


Skills Required :

Responsibilities:

The role is responsible for providing security services for end users across the enterprise, while adhering to AIGs security policy and security standards, including the knowledge of processes for the provisioning, & de-provisioning of Mainframe RACF security and the usage of security tools to support these services. Process elements include procedures, knowledge management, metrics, risk identification, as well as understanding of the catalog of service items. The candidate must have an understanding of service management, including incident and problem management and be able to work across multiple business units and technologies.

Qualifications:

Individual needs to demonstrate operational excellence, IAM experience, and ability to manage challenging situations with end users. The ability to lead and successfully execute change is critical. SKILLS/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

  • In-depth hands on knowledge (5+ years) of Mainframe RACF security product and administration required
  • Excellent TSO, JCL, IBM UTILITIES, JES2, SDSF and ISPF a must
  • Strong knowledge of mainframe Unix (LINUX) Systems service required
  • Excellent analytical skills, problem solving skills.
  • Mainframe UNIX - System services knowledge.
  • Experience with SAP on the mainframe, z/Linux, groups, ZFS/HFS security
  • Strong knowledge of CICS, DB2, MVS, SAS, REXX, CLIST and/or SAS programming skills a plus
  • Excellent team player with the ability to work independently in a fast paced environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Self-starter, detailed oriented and ability to multi task
  • Knowledge of CAs Top Secret security product a plus
  • Knowledge of ServiceNow ticketing system for handling requests, incidents, and change management activities.
  • Experience with Tape and Database Encryption a plus
