Job Description
Role: Senior DevOps Engineer
Who are we looking for?
Senior DevOps with 4+ years of industry experience. Must have strong hands-on experience in CI/CD implementations and troubleshooting. Must be a self-starter and have great appetite to learn the industry trends and new technologies.
Technical Skills:
Min 6+ years of hands-on experience in building CI/CD Pipelines and troubleshooting build & deployments failures.
Strong programming experience in Java, Java Scripting
Experience in Bamboo Specs, Java Programming, GitHub Actions, Harness
Expertise in tools like Git, Bamboo, GitHub, Atlassian products like Bitbucket, confluence and JIRA
Expertise in integration Security tools like SONAR, Nexus, Veracode, Blackduck, CodeQL.
Expertise in Blue/green & Canary deployment implementations
Sound Knowledge in any cloud technology, preferably exposure to Pivotal cloud Foundry (PCF).
Expertise in at least one scripting language like Shell, PowerShell, Python.
Any experience in Salt Stack, Harness, GitHub actions is a great advantage.
Experience in implementing tracing, monitoring, tooling solutions to maximize the performance and availability of our Web applications using APM Tools like AppDynamics, Splunk, ITRS etc.
Behavioral Skills :
Strong appetite to learn industry trends and new & emerging technologies
Have patience to mentor and guide a development team
Willingness to conduct training, drive Proof of Concepts and learn new tools
Must be a self-starter and go getter
Great communication skills and documentation skills
Qualification:
Educational qualification: B.Tech, BE, BCA, MCA, M. Tech or equivalent (preferably in Computer Science field of specialization) from a reputed college.
