The SharePoint Developer is responsible for the development of moderate to complex solutions utilizing SharePoint and Nintex development environments, and to provide support and maintenance for end users. Solutions include designing and configuring SharePoint site collections, sites, libraries, lists, calendars, and associated views for business users. This effort typically requires direct interaction with business stakeholders to capture business requirements. In addition, the SharePoint Developer is expected to be able to perform analysis, design, development, deployment, and training for moderate to complex workflow or business solutions. The SharePoint Developer helps manage and maintain term stores, content types, search configuration, and broken links. The SharePoint Developer is expected to provide support to end users of the SharePoint farm. ACCOUNTABILITIES & ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Provide user support for all SharePoint site collections, sites, libraries, lists, workflows, forms, and solutions Work closely with business users to document business requirements for moderate to complex custom solutions. Design, develop, test, maintain, train, and deploy moderate to complex solutions and processes within the SharePoint environment. Expert knowledge using Nintex Workflow and Nintex Forms to create moderate to complex processes and form solutions Deep knowledge of customizing screens or forms using HTML and CSS. Working knowledge of .Net framework. Working knowledge of JavaScript and JQuery Working knowledge of PowerShell scripting Knowledge of Microsoft SharePoint Architecture and a working knowledge of related technologies such as SQL Server, IIS, Office Web Apps (OWA), Web parts, etc. Monitors search metrics to look for improvements in search effectiveness Helps manage search queries, crawls, and indexes as needed. SKILLS & CERTIFICATIONS Good knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices and procedures within the SharePoint community Working knowledge with CSOM/JSOM, REST and CSS Development experience with Microsoft SharePoint 2013, 2016, or SharePoint Online. Good ability to communicate technical information to non-technical audiences (verbally and written). Provide level 3 user support for all SharePoint site collections, sites, libraries, lists, workflows, forms, and solutions Deep knowledge of customizing screens or forms using HTML and CSS. Design and Develop Moderate to Complex Nintex forms and Workflows Identify competitive services, opportunities for innovation, and provide an assessment of obstacles and technical hurdles to the success of the project. REQUIREMENTS Bachelor s Degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science or a related field 4+ years SharePoint Development experience required. For internal candidates, experience can be a combination of internal and external experience. Minimum of Four(4) years of specific experience in applying skills such as SharePoint architecture, object model, shared services, business process/workflow automation and SharePoint forms development Expert knowledge of Nintex Workflow and Nintex Forms
