Responsibilities (Please ensure the font you copy/paste is changed to Arial 10pt) Making most efficient utilization of the available resources Man, Machine & Material for production Effectively and efficiently manage the production of the required daily/weekly/monthly targets in line with customer specifications, meeting quality and delivery expectations, Minimizing costs where possible and ensure the required best working practices are maintained at all times Drive process improvements on Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) by appropriate data analysis Monitor quality, accuracy, and timeliness of all orders to ensure customer commitments are met through production of high-quality material that meets customer delivery expectations Handling of Union, exposure to negotiation with Union, Industrial relations Driving 5S, Safety, TPM, LEAN Manufacturing concepts Initiate & Drive the PQCDSM improvement projects Develop the team participation to improve PQCDSM across the production line Implementing actions and ensuring safety of Man and Machine Co-ordinate with SCM, QA and Maintenance function to meet the Customer requirement Communicate effectively with the General Manager/Owner, the Sales Team, and the Production Team, informing and updating them regularly to guarantee that production, sales, and customer objectives are met Guide the team in problem solving through SGA, QC and Kaizen Interacting with other Morgan sites, learn and implement to improve the Productivity, Quality & Safety Initiate hiring when needed to cope with expanding workload or for replacement of substandard employees. Provide a positive, motivating example for employees. Conduct training or authorize training of production employees. Conduct formal performance reviews per company policy. Initiate disciplinary measures according to company policy when needed and dismiss production employees when all corrective attempts have failed.
