Job Summary
Principal Responsibilities
Preparatory analysis for seasonal strategy i.e. sales plan, product KPIs (Target Full Value Sell Thru, New season sales mix), buy plan, monthly phasing, gross margin expected, liquidation hit, final delivered margin Key option planning inputs for the department across products & price points i.e. width (number of options), depth per option, size bow (buy ratio across sizes), initial allocation and replenishment quantities Inward planning inputs for the department across products, price points & stores i.e. Minimum Display Quantity, Maximum Base Stock, Target Stock Cover Inward planning coordination across vendors and logistics partners to ensure timely delivery of inwards Ongoing sales analysis to identify best-selling attributes/products that need to be scaled up by the Buyer and slow-moving attributes/products that need to be killed/phased out Coordination with the store teams for GRN, display and feedback on sales Rebalancing of inventory across stores as necessary to drive inventory efficiency Planning, executing and monitoring liquidation of aged inventory to ensure desired output within budgeted markdowns New Store Opening planning in terms of allocations, inward follow-ups and monitoring replenishments
