Skills & Requirements

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Identify and communicate current and emerging security threats
• Design security architecture elements to mitigate threats as they emerge
• Plan, research and design robust security architectures for any IT project
• Perform or supervise vulnerability testing, risk analyses and security assessments
• Create solutions that balance business requirements with information and cybersecurity requirements
• Identify security design gaps in existing and proposed architectures and recommend changes or enhancements
• Review and approve installation of firewall, VPN, routers, IDS scanning technologies and servers
• Test security systems to ensure they behave as expected
• Use current programming language and technologies to writes code, complete programming and performs testing and debugging of applications
• Provide supervision and guidance to a security team
• Define, implement and maintain corporate security policies and procedures
• Train users in implementation or conversion of systems
• Respond immediately to security-related incidents and provide thorough remedial solutions and analysis
• Regularly communicate vital information, security needs and priorities to upper management
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Basic qualifications:

• English speaking is a must
• 10+ years working experience for a role in Cybersecurity
• Extensive working experience in the aspects of Endpoint Security(EDR / MDR) is preferred
• Experience designing and implementing systems that meet agency Cyber Security policy and regulations
• Able to apply an in-depth practical understanding of IT and Cyber Security solutions
• Ability to produce high quality technical documentation
• Flexible and adaptable in regards to learning and understanding new technologies
• Strong written, oral communication and interpersonal skills; highly collaborative; personally and professionally self-aware; ability to and interested in interacting with individuals at all levels of the organization
• Highly self-motivated and directed
• Keen attention to detail
• Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
• Strong sense of urgency and commitment, as well as sound business sense with a strategic, conceptual and operational orientation

• CISSP (must have)
