Job Summary

Locations: Mumbai, Delhi

Job Description:

  • Accounting and Financial control of multiple Hotel Units distributed into Accounts Payable or Accounts Receivable
  • Accounting Entries in Tally or suitable Accounting System
  • Generation of MIS and Report backs for Financial Planning, Tax working or Statutory requirements

Account Payables:-

  • Consolidation and Accounting Entries of products and services purchased or expenses incurred by Hotel Units spread across various cities in India
  • Knowledge of GST and its application according to nature of expense
  • Maintaining list of Creditors and managing payouts as per Cash Flow and Approvals
  • Maintain Cash and Bank entries for the respective Hotel Units
  • Maintaining all bills, invoices and supportings in filing system for archival and retrieval
  • Assisting in preparing budgets and business planning, including budgeting and comparison with actual expenditure
  • Preparing Cheques, Challans, Tax working and any other documents required for payables

Account Receivables:-

  • Checking and Consolidation of Night Audit process of Hotels every day and closure of discrepancies in cash/ credit card and billing to corporate company
  • Documentation and Preparation of Bill to Corporate Company as per Contracted Rates and Terms and Conditions
  • Interaction with Corporate Clients for Billing and Payment Followups
  • Reconciliation of payments received from Online Channels, Travel Agents, Corporate Customers and FIT travelers and closure of accounts periodically

Education Qualification:-(Mandatory)
Full Time B Com/ M Com from Reputed Institute
Candidates with CA Articleship / CA Exam Appeared will be preferred

Internships/ Relevant Work Experience:-
At least 3 Years experience in either Accounts Payable/ Receivable/ Taxation and Statutory Accounting
Candidates from Hotel Industry Preferred

Age:- Less than 30 Years

Skills & Competencies:-
  • Excellent Knowledge of Tally Entries
  • Proficient in MS Excel, Word and Powerpoint
  • Knowledge of TDS and GST for Hotel Industry (Payables and Receivables)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
