Mainframe Migration Head Job in Mindtree

• 18+ years of experience in Designing , Architecting Mainframe solutions and Mainframe technologies.
• 5+ years of relevant work experience in Pre-sales and client-facing role.
• Building commercial model for Large Mainframe transformation deal including Hardware, Software ISV, ZPLA, Batch operations, Application Operation and Transformation.
• Experience maintaining internet facing production-grade applications in virtualized environments.
• Experience in system administration tasks in Linux, Unix, or Windows with familiarity with standard IT security practices (such as encryption, certificates, key management).
• As a Cloud Mainframe Architect you will guide customers on how to configure, migrate, and deploy their mainframe systems on AWS/ Azure/ Google Cloud.
• You may have to travel to customer sites to deploy solutions and deliver workshops to educate and empower customers. Additionally, you will work with product teams to drive excellence in AWS/Azure/Google Cloud products and features.
• In this role, you will work with Mindtree strategic Cloud customers and together with the team, you will support customer implementation of AWS/ Azure/ Google Cloud products through: architecture guidance, Mainframe best practices, data migration, capacity planning, implementation, troubleshooting, and monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Be a trusted technical advisor to customers and solve complex Cloud (Public/ Hybrid cloud), Mainframe migration/ Modernization challenges.
• Create and deliver best practices recommendations, tutorials, blog articles, sample code, and technical presentations adapting to different levels of key business and technical stakeholders.

Cloud Skills

• Experience and/or Certification in IBM Mainframe.
• Experience in Microfocus, clerity, Heirloom.
• AWS - Solution Architect, Microsoft - MCSA/ MCSE would be advantageous.
• AWS, AZURE, Google Cloud, Hybrid Cloud, Cloud Infrastructure, Private Cloud.
