Excellent understanding of requirements for desktop applications and embedded device applications in a client server architecture
Expertise in handling complex manual test scenarios across various platforms
Expert in testing across different device platforms for interoperability Exposure in device application testing
Deriving, designing and executing all types of tests necessary with appropriate test techniques to complete good quality product releases
Estimate test effort for test case design and execution
Creating test plans and strategies based on the requirements for test to break objectives
Review and analyse test results to ensure quality of work/tests
Document all test results and incidents by tracking a bug till closure
Communicating with respective stakeholders throughout the test life cycle with proper status reports, documents, etc.
Continuous development of skillset as demanded for various technological challenges, from time to time
Configure necessary hardware and environment for deployment scenario testing for embedded device and AWS Cloud servers
Very good analytical skills for interpreting test results
Must Have:
Good knowledge in Unit Testing Tool like NUnit
Unit testing and White box testing - work closely with developer to find early defect in development phase
WinCE Device/Instrumentation testing
Database knowledge in MS SQL Server, MySQL
Software deployment in both Embedded device and AWS Cloud
Defect Tracking and Test Management Tools (Quality Center, Mantis, Bugzilla, Jira, Clear Quest, or any similar tool)
Added Advantages: (good to have at least two of these skills)
Medical Domain
Security and vulnerability testing using tools
Hardware and network testing
Knowledge in any Functional and Regression Test Automation tool for desktop/device application
Qualification :
Any Engineering Degree
