Job brief

We are looking for a person with the dual role: Technical Architect with Technical Project manager capabilities In the API Vertical team, reporting to the Global lead (Parsa Ravi Shankar), the person will have the following responsibilities:

Roles & Responsibilities

• Build and Support efficient and reusable API s and services for an enterprise API layer
  
• Work with Services development team
  
• Lead and participate in code reviews of API s and API platforms
  
• Identify and resolve scalability and performance issues
  
• Resolve impediments, guide Peers / juniors team members technically.
  

Technical/Functional Skills

• Expert knowledge of JavaScript, APIs-Mandatory-Mandatory
  
• Microservices Architecture experience on AWS cloud
  
• Experience with API design using Open API specifications, Swagger documentation tools-Mandatory
  
• Experience in deployment of API s using one of the well-known API gateway tools like IBM AP connect or Apigee -Mandatory
  
• Experience of working with modern CI/CD and engineering tooling is a bonus Serverless Framework, Github CI/CD-Mandatory
  
• Ability to troubleshoot, research, and work through complex problems
  
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  
• API monetization strategy and governance
  
• Experience in leading 2 to 3 team members and reporting the status to manager. -Mandatory
  
• Strong interpersonal skills and good communication skills, both verbal and written.
