Job Description

Software System Engineer for Powertrain System ICE and Electric Vehicle projects

Handling and tracking of assigned SW Change Requests in Change management tool

Requirement analysis, create requirement specifications,break down requirement on SW package level and delegate it to in-house project teams and also function development teams.

Handle and discuss with customer on technical open points related to assigned change requests

Effort estimation of specification, technical negotiation with OEM

Coordinate customer requirementbetween customers, project team , function teams & Calibration/Application teams

System Tests, Delivery Tests to be performed on semi-closed loop vehicle simulators called Labs and Vehicle

Support in FMEA and DRBFM activities

Qualifications

Hands on experience of development of SW / System in Powertrain Domain

Hands on experience of the SW development Process, Methods & Tools.

Expertise in Powertrain Functions (Air System, Vehicle Functions, Injections,...)would be an added advantage

Knowledge about FMEA, SSD, DRBFM.methodologies

Knowledge about Automotive standards (CAN, Flexray, ASPICE, ISO26262,...)

Experince in working with OEMs

Should take initiative and responsibility.

Exposure to validations on vehicleand closed loop lab cars.

Good know-how about Engine Management System (SW +HW) and other HW equipment including Closed loop lab setups.

Good communication skills, self-motivated and initiative to work in unclear environment.

Knowledge on ASCET, Autosar and SW sharing concepts would be an added advantage
