The Role

Design, create and execute automation scripts using Selenium (RC and WebDriver).

Design and modify test frameworks as required.

Analyze product requirements, create test plans, and identify deliverable.

Support, maintain and enhance all test case automation related activities during iterative development, system testing, and regression testing.

Isolate problems, do root cause analysis and report bugs.

Write test status reports and escalate issues as appropriate.

Proactively solve problems and suggest process improvements.

Work with development and test engineers to identify and automate test cases.

Assist in the Requirements Management process with a lead role in creation of user stories, test scenarios, test cases.

Participate in Sprint Planning and establish acceptance criteria.

Prepare and Manage Test Environment.

Communicate effectively with all process stakeholders.

Skills & Experience:

Hands-on experience in Manual Testing and Automation using Selenium.

Minimum 3+ yrs. experience with automation of scripts for web applications.

Hands-on experience in developing and improving Continuous Integration.

Hands-on with programming using Java.

Hands-on experience in testing both front end and back end applications.

Identify project risks and recommend actions to minimize risk levels.

Must be a self-learner and upgrade testing techniques as per the latest standards

Ability to test mobile applications, web applications, and mobile web applications.

Must be aware of creation and maintenance of test data for automation testing

Experience on CI tools like Jenkins and build tools like Maven, Ant, bit bucket

Experience with web service / API test automation.

Hands-on experience in web and API security testing
