Overview

Our group is responsible for the Linux operating systems that power Azure from VMs and containers, to bare metal, and silicon in the cloud and at the edge. We work closely with upstream communities, with software and hardware vendors, OEMs, Linux distribution partners, and with hundreds of customers inside and outside Microsoft to create and operate OS platforms and products with the highest security, hardware-accelerated performance, and innovation agility.

You will be part of IDC Linux PM team - this team is accountable for working with Microsoft teams in APAC on Azure Linux adoption, for growing the external utilization of Azure Linux with AKS, for kickstarting local Linux communities, and for enabling global operations for all our Linux programs. In this role, you will work closely with engineering leaders, with hardware/software architects, with upstream project leaders, with major IHVs and security. The person will also be responsible for overseeing the performance of Azure Linux. This is a fantastic opportunity to drive meaningful impact for customers.

Qualifications

Required qualifcations :

-Knowledge, experience and skills required:
-A minimum of a bachelor s degree in computer science or engineering, or a related field, or equivalent alternative education, skills, and/or practical experience is required.
-Proven ability to develop product roadmaps to deliver customer and business value across products and services.
-Track record of successful design, delivery, and iteration on complex projects with a diverse set of stakeholders.
-Experience with customer-centric and data-driven insights creation, strategy definition, and experimentation.
-Attribute customer obsession, a learning mindset, strong communication skills, bias for action, and generating energy across a diverse team.

Responsibilities

Lead efforts to achieve the most strategic set of Objectives and Key Results (OKRs), ensuring alignment with company vision and priorities.
Develop and execute strategies for assigned products and related releases, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with business needs.
Collaborate closely with product management, user research, design, engineering, marketing, customer experience (CXP), and customer success teams to deliver best-in-class product experiences.
Interact with both internal and external customers to gather insights and feedback, ensuring customer requirements are accurately represented in both technical and business terms.
Create and maintain detailed business documents outlining feature requirements and value propositions.
Use data and insights to drive sound decision-making, taking ownership of outcomes and maintaining accountability for product success.
Ensure customer needs are consistently integrated into product development, with a strong focus on delivering value and enhancing the overall customer experience.
