Job Description:

Responsibilities:

• Work with project teams for all stages of QA for complex products and platforms, including testing strategy and test results evaluation and proposed corrective actions.
• Test automation as well with analyzing functional test requirements, identify weak spots and constantly design better and creative ways to break software and identify potential problems for components of the system under test.
• Work with multiple project teams to validate complex products and platforms, including integration testing.
• Manages and expands relationships with various internal engineering teams.
• Reviews and evaluates designs and project activities for compliance with systems design and development guidelines and standards; provides tangible feedback to improve product quality and mitigate failure risk.
• Provides software systems leadership and perspective to cross-organization projects, programs, and activities.
• Drives innovation and integration of new technologies into projects and activities in the software systems design organization.
• Installs and configures product under test, other applications software
• Influence better software design, promote proper engineering practice, bug prevention strategies, testability, accessibility, privacy, secured and other advanced quality concepts across products.
• Development and Document Test Cases and contribution to test approach, test preparation, test tool infrastructure, test execution and results interpretation for test automation.
• Participation in innovation and integration of new QA technologies into projects and activities in the software quality assurance organization.

Education and Experience Required:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent.
• Typically 3-6 years of experience.

Knowledge and Skills:

• Experience on testing of software products and solutions running on multiple platforms and distributed environment.
• Experience on databases and Linux operating systems.
• Extensive experience with multiple software systems design tools and languages (Python, Java preferred)
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in overall architecture of software systems for products and solutions
• Experience designing and implementing High Availability and Disaster Recovery solutions.
• Evaluating forms and processes for software systems testing and methodology, including writing and execution of test plans, debugging, and testing scripts and tools.
• Experienceof qualifying web application solutionshosted on cloud
• Awareness of multiple software quality assurance tools and processes.
• Understanding and Test Automation of service technologies such as REST and SOAP interface
• Experience in developing automated test for UI and APIs components and systems that rely on the micro services and responsive web application
• Experience in automated testing tools/frameworks for Web Services and Unix.
• Experience with Java and scripting for automation(e.g., UNIX Shell scripting, Python, Perl)
• Demonstrated ability to go the extra mile, Self-starter and self-motivated with a can do attitude . Comfortable working in fast paced dynamic environment
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Good Analytical, troubleshooting/debugging and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Knowledge and Skills

• Test Experience and Writing high quality test code to execute complex tests on a distributed system and on public/private cloud environment
• knowledge on database performance.
• Hands on experience on system monitoring tools and frameworks.
• Experience on Test management/ALM solutions e.g. Bugzilla, JIRA, HP ALM/QC, Test Link
• Experience accessing relational database for automated testing of Microsoft SQL Server, Postgres and MySQL
• Security Testing
• Test-driven development(TDD)
• Experience with Agile, Git and CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub, etc)
• Configuration Management (SaltStack) experience
