Job Summary Our client is one of the strongest brands in the Bakery category, having a 25000 sq ft state-of-the-art centralized manufacturing facility with European equipment near Ahmedabad, Gujarat. The founding team consists of a Master Baker from Le Cordon Bleu, Paris, one of the finest culinary institutes in the world and an IIM-A alumni with a McKinsey background. They are looking for a Warehouse Operations Manager to manage end-to-end operations of their warehouse in Ahmedabad. Responsibilities: Operations & Coordination: Plan and coordinate with warehouse teams to ensure timely clearance and delivery of shipments. Inventory Management: Ensure timely completion of inventory transactions and maintain stock accuracy. Stock Audits: Conduct inventory counts, verify discrepancies, and ensure security of materials. Filing & Reporting: Ensure daily trackers and reports are completed accurately and on time. Team Management: Select, develop, and evaluate team members for efficient operation of the warehouse. Provide training, evaluate performance, and recommend corrective actions or dismissals as required. Hiring & Training: Assist Warehouse Manager with hiring and training new employees. Physical Inventory: Conduct physical inventory checks, reconcile computerized data, and address any discrepancies. Stock Management: Ensure stock is stored in designated locations in the warehouse and dispatched according to schedule. Cost Monitoring: Monitor expenditures and implement corrective actions when necessary. Equipment Maintenance: Resolve routine equipment issues to ensure smooth operations. Housekeeping & Compliance: Maintain cleanliness of the warehouse and ensure readiness for customer or regulatory audits. Additional Duties: Perform other tasks as assigned by the management. Requirements Minimum of 2 years of experience in warehouse operations. Strong leadership and team management skills. Experience in inventory control and warehouse management. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. Proficiency in warehouse management software and MS Office.
