Job Summary

Job Function: Field Marketing Manager LS Biology

Your Role::

Lead and direct all aspects of Commercial Marketing, portfolio management, business development, and relationship management for Life Science Biology, Diagnostic Solution, and Gene Editing Business Units. The role will be to contribute to the development of target markets strategy through market data analysis, monitoring industry trends, technology, and innovations, and collecting voice of final users.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to create an effective and efficient marketing strategy focused on the growing demand for the assigned portfolio.
  • Drive strategic initiatives forward with agility while collaborating cross-functionally, effectively communicating and influencing at various levels of management.
  • Build capabilities to measure incrementality due to marketing investments vis-a-vis other business initiatives, at various levels of granularity (e.g. overall marketing, channel, etc.) to inform both strategic planning and tactical execution/optimization.
  • Responsible for executive communication (data analysis, building presentation materials, scenario planning, etc.) with respect to assigned portfolio s marketing performance, effectively and concisely articulating critical trends, insight/foresight, the so what and recommendations.
  • Manage conception, development, and implementation of marketing plan and strategies, product concepts, and promotional programs to drive interest and sales
  • Partner with Sales and Program Marketing to assess and prioritize region or Commercial area growth opportunities
  • Design and execute promotion schemes for assigned products for better acceptability/increasing reach/Demand generation, by working closely with the Digital/Commercial/Segment Marketing team to ensure target results are achieved
  • Work with the supply chain and commercial team to manage suitable inventory levels.
  • Drive internal projects in collaboration with the Cross-functional teams to develop integrated solutions and key application studies as well as external strategic collaborations.
  • Research competitors, market pricing, and industry programs through communication with Segment/Digital Marketing, Sales, Target Customers, and Dealers.
  • Identify business performance gaps and develop demand generation programs to close gaps.

Who you are:

  • Ph.D. with 7-10 years of experience across Marketing Technology and Data & Analytics platforms including:
    • Data Analytics, Business Intelligence & Reporting & Advertising Technology
  • Demonstrated experience in building and leading high-performing teams.
  • Ability to present complex analytical information in a clear, concise, and compelling manner to executive leadership to inspire action.
  • Ability to lead projects proactively and problem solve.
  • Innovative, creative, enthusiastic, and self-motivated with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Establishes a good scientific understanding of our as well as competition products
  • Travel across India, alone or with the sales team to meet customers and collect market feedback for data-driven decision making
