Merce is looking for an experienced Sales leader to lead the Sales function for the Indian market and also manage relationships with a few of its existing accounts in Mumbai. This role involves working on achieving sales targets for prospects and in these existing client accounts.

  • Carries overall Sales target for India prospects and for a designated cluster of customers
  • Create a Sales pipeline and track to closure.
  • Work closely with the internal Merce team to enhance the value proposition to market
  • Qualify the Sales opportunities and increase the probability of winning with closure in reduced Sales cycle time
  • Building relationships with Key Decision Makers
  • Identify continuous growth opportunities for New Business in new and existing accounts as per account expansion target
  • Arranging for a demo, presenting the solution
  • Ensure Contracting with the customer is done on priority and timely renewals of ongoing services like Agreements, T&M Resources, etc
  • Proposal creation for all new and extension engagements in the existing accounts by collaborating with Merce technical specialists
  • Liaise with the Merce Project Manager/s in the designated accounts to identify new opportunities and drive it to closure
  • Setup meetings between the client management team and Merce Management team
  • Ensure to get video/written testimonials from the identified existing clients
  • Asking for referrals for the new leads/connect from the various stakeholders in the clients organizations
  • Curating the events, and ensuring attendance for the existing clients and leads based on technology focus. Ensuring client attendance. Working with the event managers/in-house managers for arranging the events
  • Engaging with technology, BFS forums for presenting the case studies

Required Professional Expertise

  • The overall experience of 10 to years of working in a Sales role IT Services Sales
  • Exposure to the BFS industry is a must
  • Excellent Client & Stakeholder handling skills
  • Strong sense of ownership and outcome focussed. Should relentlessly pursue deliverables and customer delight
  • Growth mindset. Should be able to spot new business opportunities in the account and advise senior management
  • Should be at ease managing conflicts and customer expectations
  • Influencer and closure mindset
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication skills
