About the Role : As an Assistant Manager- Legal & Compliance at MediBuddy, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our company's compliance with pertinent laws, regulations, and industry standards. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to formulate and execute effective compliance strategies, policies, and protocols. The ideal candidate will possess a profound comprehension of healthcare regulations, an exceptional eye for detail, and the capacity to introduce, monitor and report compliance matters. What you will do : Monitor, develop and execute a comprehensive compliance program that meets regulatory requirements, risk assessments, policies, and training initiatives. Develop, implement, and monitor effective compliance policies, procedures, and controls to align with healthcare regulations and industry standards. Oversee MediBuddy services to detect and investigate potentially suspicious activities and report findings as required. Manage and enhance the labour law and consumer protection processes, ensuring robust due diligence and customer identification procedures. Stay abreast of changes in labour laws, National Medical Council regulators, consumer protection laws, legal metrology laws and regulations, compliance requirements, and communicate these changes to relevant stakeholders. Support fundraising activities, including investor relations, legal due diligence, and preparation of legal presentations. Assist and collaborate with cross functions for ESG related activities and reporting. Review contracts with main focus on compliance. What you should have : Bachelor's degree in Law and related field; Minimum of 3 years of experience in compliance management, with a strong emphasis on regulations, compliance monitoring and reporting. Proven track record of effectively leading and managing compliance activities. Thorough understanding of relevant laws and regulations in the healthtech Industry is a plus. Excellent analytical skills and the ability to assess complex regulatory issues and develop effective solutions.
