# Responsibilities - Architect, design, and develop new user-facing interfaces and features - Be primarily focused on the frontend of Material Depot - Mentor and support other technical team members - Build reusable components and front-end libraries for future use - Translate designs and wireframes into high-quality code - Optimize components for maximum performance across a vast array of web-capable devices and browsers - Develop a flexible and well-structured front-end architecture, along with the APIs to support it - Create, improve, and refine workflows and processes for delivering quality software on time and with carefully calculated debt - Profile and improving front-end performance and document the codebase - Work closely with product managers, customer support representatives, and account executives to help the business move fast and efficiently through relentless automation - Communicate effectively in a distributed work environment # Requirements - Proven work experience in building scalable products from scratch as a Front-end developer - In-depth understanding of the entire web and mobile development process (design, development, and deployment) - Hands-on experience with tech stacks like MERN and MEAN - Prior mobile development experience on Flutter - Strong knowledge of and experience with the functional programming paradigm - Experience in conducting code reviews, providing feedback to other engineers - Great communication skills and a proven ability to work as part of a tight-knit team #
