Powertrain Electrical Component Testing Job in Maruti Suzuki India Limited

Educational Qualification: - B.E / B. Tech in Mechanical Engineering/ Electrical Engineering/ Electrical & Electronics / Electronics & Communication

Minimum 60 % marks

Job Role & Responsibilities: -

Role: Electric Vehicle / S-HEV Calibration & Validation Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Perform vehicle level calibration and evaluation of HEV/EV system
• Plan & execute long term validation of EV / HEVs
• Preparation of DoE, execution, analysis, and reporting
• Perform root-cause analysis of the issues encountered
• Implement countermeasures during development
• Performance Testing / benchmarking, and database creation
• Working with stakeholders within the organization and outside (suppliers, consultants) for above development

Competency Requirements: -

Technical/ Functional:

• Good knowledge of EV/HEV vehicle systems & Powertrain engineering
• Good knowledge of high-level performance requirements of vehicles
• Exposure to Hybrid / Electric vehicle performance verification and Validation
• Prior experience in vehicle calibration tools such as INCA or equivalent is required
• Experience in vehicle testing on chassis dyno, on road and on test track
• Hands on experience on usage of Chassis Dyno, emission analyser system, for testing & calibration of Electric and Hybrid electric vehicles for performance and energy efficiency
• Exposure to engine/vehicle calibration for FE, Emissions & performance. This includes Fuel Economy/CO2, emission testing as per regulations and engineering standards
• Exposure to appropriate Regulations and Standards of HEV/EV such as AIS 038, AIS 039, AIS 040, AIS 102, AIS 048, AIS 137 etc.
