Job Summary Job Title:Data Scientist Job Location: Gurgaon Educational Qualification - B.E / B.Tech with a minimum of 60% marks - B.Sc in Mathematics or Data Science Experience - 4-7 years in data science or a related field Responsibilities - Data-Driven Solutions: Design and implement data-driven solutions to address complex business challenges. - Domain Expertise: Acquire specialized knowledge in the automotive domain, collaborating with domain specialists as necessary. - IoT Proficiency: Gain a deep understanding of vehicle IoT devices, particularly the Telematics Control Unit. - Time-Series Data: Develop expertise in handling and analyzing time-series data. - Data Preparation: Clean, prepare, and manage datasets for modeling, engaging in the ETL process as required. - Data Exploration: Conduct thorough data exploration to extract insights, identify patterns, seasonality, trends, and causality, and collaborate with domain experts to formulate and test hypotheses. - Feature Engineering: Devise and refine features, evaluate their significance, and determine the appropriate machine learning strategy. - Model Development: Engage in data modeling, selecting suitable machine learning or deep learning algorithms, establishing data pipelines for training, performing hyper-parameter optimization, and conducting validation and testing. Implement ensemble techniques where beneficial. - Data Visualization: Interpret and visualize data findings through reports and graphical representations. -Mentorship: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior data science professionals. Technical Skills / Experience Essential Qualifications: - Minimum of 4 years of industry experience in data science. - Proficient in Python programming, with experience in libraries such as pandas, NumPy, matplotlib, and sklearn. - Competent in statistical analysis, including descriptive and inferential statistics, and hypothesis testing. - Practical experience in mathematical modeling and various machine learning techniques, including: - Generalized Linear Models (GLM) - Boosting Algorithms - Decision Trees - Neural Networks - Support Vector Machines (SVM) - Bayesian Methods - Econometric analysis - Deep Learning models (RNNs, LSTMs, GRUs) - Unsupervised learning algorithms and image classification using computer vision. - Proven track record of successful model deployment. Desirable Qualifications: - Experience with accident simulation tools (e.g., PC crash, OPENPass). - Familiarity with time-series and IoT data analytics. - Knowledge of large language models (LLMs). - Understanding of automotive systems, vehicle fundamentals, and Controller Area Network (CAN) protocol.
