Skill-Set :

At least 2-8 yrs of exposure of modem support/protocol log analysis experience for LTE/UMTS/GSM technology, UE side experience is preferred.

• Have rich and strong experience in
  LTE (EMM, ESM) log analysis
  Knowledge of UMTS/GSM (MM/GMM, SM) log analysis
  Basic understanding of 2G/3G/4G AS procedures
  Candidate should have very deep knowledge of 3GPP specification 24.301, 24.008 and 23.122.

Have exposure to customer support activities of 2G/3G/4G modem on smart phone projects, mainly based on Android.

Excellent debugging skills, good experience on analyzing mobile protocol logs UE side (Specifically L3/L4 modules) Debugging of field issues.

Candidate will be required to analyze and debug UE logs for various modem procedures like Auto/Manual PLMN selection/Attach-Detach/PDU Session management/call, SMS, SS failures/CSFB, SRVCC and other similar scenarios from 2G/3G/4G AS protocol point of view.

Should be able to identify protocol errors, reported modem issue, and should be correctly able to identify the root cause of the problem and suggest a solution.
