Job Summary
  • Budget Owner (Sales/ Expense) for Commercial Marine sales for MEL-KDU Group of Companies in India and Overseas.
  • Develop sales strategies, plan the local budget and be responsible to achieve it.
  • Act as Account Manager and Project Sponsor within area of responsibility.
  • Support Sales team with meetings and developing relationships in the industry.
  • Collect customer feedback and market intelligence and apprise Management.
  • Analyze the market in order to identify future customer requirements.
  • Establish and enhance existing as well as new customer and partners relationship.
  • Research market for public and commercial tender.
  • Guide sales coordinator/s and support team for Proposal preparation, submission and follow ups.
  • Competitive attitude with skills for effective contract negotiations.
  • Keep up to date with in-house as well as represented products and services, Industry rules and regulations.
  • Monitor invoicing, collection and recovery of overdue amounts from customer.
  • Expected to travel 50-60% of his time every month.
  • Seeking Chief Engineer with minimum 2 years experience ashore, preferably in Sales / Business development.
  • Excellent English language skills.
  • Self-driven with ability to pursue and achieve established goals.
  • Age about 40 years.
  • Proficient in use of Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel, Powerpoint, etc.
  • Salary Commensurate to Industry standards
