Job DescriptionInstall, upgrade and maintain Oracle 11i Applications. Configure technical environment, apply patches, perform application refreshes. Devise and implement access, backup, DR and monitoring procedures to ensure security, availability, performance and business continuity. Communicate regularly with applications development and business analyst teams.Support about 40+ Oracle applications developers and 7-8 QA team with the instance creation, refresh, performance tuning help and also standard product issue debugging. The job also requires working with the infrastructure teams (network, security, server administration and desktop teams) and be the point person for all the infrastructure issues.
Minimum Requirements
Requirements At least 7 years of IT experience and at least 5 years on Oracle databases. At least 3 years of experience as Oracle Apps DBA At least 2 years of experience on Oracle 11i. Should have MLS implementation or support experience Should be able to write shell scripts Should have experience on Linux and AIX Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with credibility at all levels of the organization and a team player outlook with the ability to work well withPeers. Excellent oral and written communication skills.
